My wife always says one as well; it's just the beginning of the negotiation. I'd counter with BG being my preference, but that I appreciate it's too far away. Then I'd have a fake epiphany that I found a few that are mere blocks apart, and she'd acquiesce and everyone is happy.

It's actually easier when we travel with the kids, because we're all in one hotel room and everyone sleeps like absolute shit. I don't need much sleep, but they get tuckered out late morning/early afternoon and need naps, allowing me to sneak out and crush every brewery within reach.

They all sound so insanely good. Anyone else going to Black Friday in Chi-town?

I actually did put two and two together....

I combined Roundabout and Grist House with Hop Farm and Draai Laag. :stuck_out_tongue:

I would definitely prefer the bottle for the big variants if that would mean bigger allocations. Last year we could only get 1 of each.

Damn, that new Bourbon County lineup is damn sexy. I wonder what the chances are Pittsburgh sees anything but BCBS. The Regal Rye and especially the Prop sound amazing.

Edit: Ugly ass bottles AND only 16.9 ounces?

I think Prop and Rye sound like MAJOR downgrades from 2013-14

The cinnamon in the past two Props have been so incredibly overpowering. looking forward to this much more.

As I posted in the main BCBS thread, the new bottles look like IBC Root Beer. And I hate them.

While still delicious, I thought that 2014's Prop had a very heavy cinnamon taste that I did not detect in the initial 2013 bottling.

And yeah, those new bottles, at least in the pics, look like shit. The now retired labels were among my favorites.

You know what they say... Have something insanely successful and fine just the way it is? Change it up!

Those new bottles are horribly ugly. The variants sound good to me, but the hype on the BCBS stuff is just getting way overwhelming now.

Just my opinion, agree that there was nothing wrong with the bottles, I liked them, and the new ones are...different. Reality is few - if any - people are going to not buy a beer of BCBS's quality/popularity based off of the bottle. Weird move to switch them up regardless.

They could put it in plastic bags for all I care if they'd improve the way it's distro'd.
