    LAst night I walk into the local craft beer establishment(okeefes in Moline, il) and what do I see? ballast Point Tap Takeover! I shared with wife: Dorado, Calm Before theStorm, Whaoo Thai chile lime. started tonight with Tounge buckler. BP is skyrocketing up my charts.

    I scheduled my entire day around a meeting at 5pm that was cancelled, at 5pm. Then I spent an hour and a half in traffic on my way home so I opened a beer within two minutes of walking in the house.

    I'm really not the sharpest tool in the shed: Cracked open #2 (which was 5:50 PM), probably not the best decision since I have to be somewhere at 7:00!! :confused:

    Remedy? Lots of water and food!! ~ :stuck_out_tongue:



    And speaking of Alice Cooper, he was one of my rock heroes growing and 'still love his music. This was a pretty cool moment in business travel (long story, I'll spare you the details). I was traveling through Rochester, NY and ran into Alice at the Downtown Crowne Plaza one morning and actually had a good 10+ minutes to rap with him, what a totally cool guy and very personable. Cancelled my Buffalo reservation for that evening and went to his concert in Rochester that night, totally worth the uber early morning the next day since I had to travel. This is still waiting to be framed for my office ... still love his music and Alice still rocks it, IMO.

    A recent conversation reminded me of the one good thing about beer shopping in Ontario. Great belgian beers are pretty darn cheap. The beloved Orval at C$3.35 all in. Right now with the current exchange rate, that translates to about .38 cents US!:wink:

    Look at it show off with that magnificent head!

    Trust me, once word gets out how amazingly good this beer is, people will be running for it....in July or August or whenever; silly? Not so much....
