    Started my morning off with a nice hearty brunch:

    and now I am relaxing with the latest Hop Savant from Crooked Stave. This version uses NZ Pacifica hops and is very tasty. Similar to Galaxy but with more funk, it definitely shines as it warms up with big orange zest and pineapple notes but has an earthy/dusty underlying funk to it that I really enjoy.

    I always liked the vanilla notes in this one. Agreed there is very little oak.

    From Tuesday. A little underwhelmed. Wasn't as fruity as I'd hoped. Still a solid brew, of course, but I thought I would really love it. I prefer Abt 12.

    Great brew. Plus, it's priced fantastically, especially for an import.

    Solid hops, with a bigger than average malt backbone. Solid beer, only bottled 13 days ago, so the hops really shined.
