Used to be Trillium. Then I moved :*(
Now I have very good access to fresh as f Head Hunter.
Not the same. But nice to have fresh IPAs.
At least I'm not stranded up in the sticks of, say... Vermont.
    Thatd be miserable.

I could get every beer flying fish makes. But by the looks and styles they make it doesnt appeal to me.

    Awesome
I was waiting for an "I have easy access to Trillium. what beer do you have access to that most people can't get" humble brag thread.

Reading this thread/post Nick' s icon here made me realize how spoiled I am that Jai Alai is available almost everywhere locally. To boot, when I go grocery shopping at my local Publix, I always check the canned date on it whether I need beer or not, and it's often less than a week old. Gives me a warm and fuzzy sense of security that all is right with the world.

I'm equidistant to Trillium and Treehouse and Trillium's expansion to Canton is directly in my direction and will cut the trip in half. Jacks Abby is just over a half hour away as well.
My piss probably clocks in around 75 IBUs

Being able to leave work on a lunch break have a draft Blackout + lunch, pick up a case of BA Blackout and be back in the office by 1:15 only happens once a year, but it is one of my favorite days.

Ithaca Flower Power is pretty damn good, but I wouldn't say it's spoiled me. Most of the IPAs I buy are from California.
The residents of Vermont are the lucky ones.

Fresh Squeezed is tremendous. RPM IPA by itself is a pretty solid reason to choose to live in the northwest

In Southeast PA, Neshaminy Creek has been bangin' it.

Also noteworthy: Victory, Troegs, Allentown Brewworks, Saucony Creek, Weyerbacher, Stoudt's, Funk, and Free Will. Besides Funk who doesn't bottle their beers and sells fresh growlers to go and kegs to the local bars, all the rest can be found at the local Wegman's or bottle shop. The overall ratings of these places may not be setting the beer review world on fire, but I'm a firm believer of supporting the local breweries, especially when they are putting out solid beers at a great price point.

Deschutes, Bend Brewing, Silver Moon, Crux, Worthy, Ale Apothecary, and Boneyard each have beers that compete with the best in the world in various styles. I like trying different stuff from all over, but would get along just fine with only local beers.

I think a better question would be, "what beer from a brewery local to you can you get that makes you say "meh" to the really good alternatives available on bottle shop shelves?"

That would change a lot of answers to this thread...

Good lord almost every reply is an IPA. I didn't realize this site was so hop obsessed.

Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold for me. It's not an IPA, yet it somehow still tastes good. Shocking I know. It's beer too, even though it's not an IPA.
