Is it better than last year? - It is. And it was darn good last year too. Ithaca Beer Country Pumpkin.

Pours golden orange, crystal clear with an actrive bubble stream. A fat head of tan foam that falls fast. Nose is sweet delight. Smooth dry pie crust kissed by sweetness. Golden and fine to the palate. The hops are floral and juicy but do not impart any strongcitrus flavors. The gourd is plainly present with it's flavor on the palate. Because the hops do not impart lots of citrus you can taste the pumpkin. It's a touch bitter and that's why I like it. The spices are ginger, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon. The cinnamon is tame, the nutmeg first. Ginger is the bright one and really shows off the golden malt and it's rather light sweetness. There is a permissible touch diacetyl in this beer. As the freshness wanes you should be able to pick it out better. Right now it is merely a smoothness on the palate. Negligible amount and it enhances the flavor without bringing the beer down. This is a crisp ale not an imperial style. Those magnum hops impart a lovely clean bitterness to the dry finish that will show off that malt and leave your mouth to water from the pumpkin. Crisp, refreshing, flavorful. It's not too early because it's not too heavy.

Is there a specific occasion for this one, or just Friday? Either way, I'm jealous!

Hopster from New Glarus. Not bad, and actually very drinkable.

Early start to the weekend after a very short work day. A shower beer before a weekend of cheap beer and stupidity with my old college roommates. Hope everyone has a glorious weekend. Cheers!

Took yesterday off and ran the Rock the Night 5k in Chicago. Sunny and 86 degrees at the start made for a pretty grueling event. Thankfully Bells was a sponsor and there was plenty of Oberon and Amber ale to aid in the recovery.

Revisiting this one today as I work up the motivation to mow the lawn. I'm tasting more chocolate than coffee, but pretty good nonetheless. Rocking the Sunny Side Up coffee mug from @JNForsyth!

    Happy weekend!

My first IPA! And a good one too. I'm really enjoying it. You can really taste, smell and feel the hops. Unique. Kabinet Brewery from Belgrade, Serbia did a really good job. Am proud of them as a fellow Serbian. Cheers! PS: This is my third beer today. Only one left, wait and see what it is (it's really good, I promise :grinning:).

A beautiful day to sit outside and sip on some Brewhouse Coffee Stout. Good coffee taste and quite smooth, just a little thin on the feel. Enjoy the day!

Two Thumbs Up brother! One for the Beer and the Second because I am enjoying King Titus at the moment! Another One has became my IPA (hoppy beer in general) Bookmark. Now every Citra hopped brew has to be measured up to Another One. Cheers!
