This board was instrumental in me deciding my first sixtel for my meister, and now I turn to you again for #3. First one was Resin, thanks to @Sixpoint for the help in tracking one down(when Sixpoint doesn't even distro to my area!). Second time, I stayed big and went with 90 Minute. As the last glass of 90 minute pours out sometime this week, I need some suggestions for my next beer. A couple things to know: I live in PA and my distro area kind of sucks. Most PA stuff is readily available(Victory/Troeggs), but a lot of breweries are a bigger problem than they should be(Neshaminy Creek comes to mind). I don't mind traveling for the right beer. That said, because of the sheer ABV of my previous two kegs, I am looking for something a little lighter to transition to fall beers. Pilsners, session IPAs, brown ales, witbiers, I am done for anything. What would you get?
Prima Pils is up there, but the problem I have with it is freshness. Most kegs I saw were at least 3 months old. Better 3 months old in a keg than in a bottle, but still....
This may be the place to look if its a manageable drive from where you are located: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/10534/?view=ratings
Victory makes plenty of things that would be great for your purposes. Summer Love. Hop Devil, since you like 90 Minute. Swing is pretty nice as well, miles better than any session IPA if you want something truly sessionable If you can get a fresh sixtel of Yuengling Summer Wheat, then Yuengling Summer Wheat. Piercing Pils by DFH if it's available. If you're looking for something Belgian, you might be able to get your hands on some Ommegang Rare Vos. Duvel Single, as well. Saison Dupont would be pretty killer to have on tap.
What about grapefruit sculpin. Or Frank a smith beverage had the shape of hops to come. Exton beverage has a large selection to choose from.
The new Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest colab might be a nice change of pace from the two DIPAs you had on previously. If you want to stay on the hops, but maybe go a bit lighter I like Troegs Hop Knife.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area? Why not Breaker Brewing? They have some good brews. Also heard there's a good place in Montrose.
Yes, Breaker def. One of my friends actually came in to get a sixtel filled while I was there. Not sure about Endless.
