    Oh, absolutely! I've never cold crashed for more than 24-36 hours and the stickler is we're leaving in a few days for vacation and there's no time to bottle the batch before we head out so my goal at this point is to get it off the yeast cake for the time being and let time work its magic while we're away. Since the beer is such an unusual hybrid I'm not as pressed for time to get it in the bottle, if it were a straight up IPA, definitely needs to be "incarcerated" sooner rather than later! :slight_smile:

    I bet this rocks big time fresh from the source. The green-bottle skunk normally doesn't bother me much, but here it really is getting in the way. Stupid skunk! :angry:

    My Rangers and my Astros are playing first-to-14 in Arlington. 11-7 Rangers middle of the fourth ... woah! :grimacing::confused::rolling_eyes:

    I'm almost too embarrassed to admit that this is what I'm drinking on just an average Monday night after work and dinner. This and below. First a bomber of King Sue (thanks Ryan!) from the batch brewed about 2 weeks ago (which was just incredible...thank you Mike for getting this train back on track!), followed by a 32oz growler of Julius. It's hard not to get spoiled...

    Was just about to post this when the power went out for a few seconds. That was frustrating for me because I was going to caption the photo,"watching the Mets Torpedo the Marlins."

    Fortunately Lucy was not affected by the power disruption.

    I had to have my wife import this for me from Chicago. I wish the beer distribution community would recognize Champaign-Urbana as the bustling metropolis that it obviously is.
