I can't be the only one who does this, but I feel terribly silly every time.

My friend had one explode in her fridge, so yeah I'd buckle it up in my car for sure.

I strap them into the kids car seats. Even if the kids are riding with me at the time.

That is certainly my weekend approach. But I'm a bay area commuter, so if I'm getting fills in the City, I'm lugging them on BART and then to my car. I haven't taken this shit seriously enough yet to take a cooler into work with me.

I have a big canvas bag in the trunk with emergency gear- fluids, jumper cables, flashlight, etc.- my growlers get shoved in there and don't move around a bit.

Once you've had beers roll around and get damaged in your car, you won't feel silly about buckling them in anymore!

I either buckle things up or put them in a crate I have in the trunk.

I buckled mine up. But the squirmy thing got free so I had to relocate it to the floorboard and placed stuff around it to keep it stable.

    That's awesome.
Empty, mine are securely tucked behind the seat of my truck wrapped in towels.
Full, they are in a cooler in the back of my truck strapped down.

Had a buddy show me the aftermath of a growler that exploded in his car. Growler was in the back seat, he had to slam on his brakes, growler turns into a beer rocket, hits the dash and explodes all over the place. Still shards of glass in the car a week later and some skunky beer smell. Secure your glassware folks.
