    IF/when that happens they will almost always win. Most of us are reasonable & don't care to prevail in a piddling claim only to find our acct & shipments under close scrutiny. There's a potential for one of those 'win the battle, lose the war' scenarios. No thanks!

    @Mscanlon31 Ouch! Still no resolution between you & rudzud? Regardless of what FedEx does for you, rudzud needs his beer asap. Given that it was a growler, even if it's delivered, it's no longer acceptable. Rectifying the situation falls on you. Rectifying it asap needs, that's NEEDS, to happen like day before yesterday. You fucked up. FedEx fucked up. You need, that's NEED, to not fuck up with this yet again.

    @rudzud you haven't yet rec'd your beer. You should edit your fb to reflect that.

    It was bad. It's now even worse. Mscanlon31's unfortunate experience with FedEx is NOT your problem.

    If the box is delivered, you should write 'REFUSED' on it (without opening), & give it back to Fedex. If asked, explain that it contained perishables, which are not in acceptable condition due to lengthy shipping delays.

    Well yeah, I wouldn't accept the original box now.

    I was in talks with him via messages about getting something else, as if leaking, growler glass, etc. etc. etc. was such an issue last time I am tremendously leery about getting a growler and would rather just have a bottle.

    I'd like to raise the observation that this package went MIA on 7/20. It is now 8/2. Fedex should have gotten back to you WAAAY before now...

    @Mscanlon31 Just some friendly advice. If I were in your shoes I would cut my ties with the box that is MIA and do whatever is possible *at this point* to make @rudzud happy or at least content. The longer this drags on the more your rep is *tarnished* and the harder it will be to get off of people's "Don't Trade With" lists. I will give you credit in that you are at least not walking away from the situation and are not hiding from your obligation. I hope this gets resolved sooner rather than latter.

    @dmbforever you nailed it. If the box shows up it will be refused. Realistically there is no chance that box will be delivered.

    @Mscanlon31 file a claim with FedEx if there's any chance of recovering your money but your loss in this shouldn't be rudzud's problem. He needs his beer asap. This has been dragging on since June.

    I just got finished with FedEx....they confirmed my suspicion that no claim has been filed. Until I called, TODAY 8/5, no claim had been officially filed due to you not sending over any paperwork via email. It took MY phonecall, JUST NOW, to get the process rolling. There will be no reimbursement until you fill out the forms. I've had to fill them out before, it takes two minutes, tops.

    Are you fucking kidding me dude?

    this has to be the longest running bad trader thread I have seen where the bad trader is actually engaged in the thread. Why the ef is this taking so long??? Just get the man his beer ASAP!

    At what point does this community as a whole say we have had enough of this story and demand this compulsive liar get the ban hammer? I've been following this one closely and rarely ever see a need to chime in but this guy has got to go for good as there is no way he can be trusted to deal with any member of this site ever again.
