    I saw that this was done back in 2012, but I wanted to get a recent idea and add a poll as well. As for me, lately I have been in the 7-14 range but if my life weren't waking up early 5 days a week those numbers might be different.

    I added the per-day equivalents in case dividing by 7 isn't your thing. :wink:

    Weekend/Weekday consumption totally varies.

    0-3 per day during the week
    1-97 per day on weekends

    I've realized that part of my weight is due to beer calories. I've tried to slow down my consumption to no more than one a day (or less) during the week. Weekends will be higher. I've also decided to keep my style choice to something really close to 5%, and consumed near/with dinner. First two weeks? Abita's Seersucker Pils.

    I limit myself to one beer per day from Monday-Thursday (absent special circumstances). Friday, Saturday, and Sunday it's more.

    And then there are times like last week at the beach...when I had nothing to drink at all. Not what you were expecting, huh? But I was staying with my non-drinking parents (and younger siblings, who have no idea that my wife and I drink). Oh well, taking some time away from drinking every once in a while isn't a bad idea.

    This poll needs to be a bit more refined. Not every 12 ounce beer is created equal. a 5% pale ale is about 1 beer, a 12 ounce bottle of Ballast Point Victory at Sea at 10% ABV is two beers.
