No brewing for me this weekend, but the hops on the bines are turning brown on the tips, and a few are papery and easy to crumble. I see a wet hopped APA in my future...

Going to do a basic blond with Avagard Pale Malt, a touch of honey malt and a whole bunch of hallertau, split with US-05 and Dupont dregs (might throw Orval dregs in as well).

Wasn't supposed to be a brewing weekend, but I got to be assistant brewer for my son. Small extract batch and his first crack at using steeping grains. There is something to be said for how short such a brewday is. We're already finished and cleaned up. I'm often not at flameout yet with my bigger all grain batches.

Yesterday was for getting caught up on cleaning fermentors. Today is supposed to be for transferring my Oktoberfest and Schwarzbier to secondary for lagering. Will try to get that in after we go to my in-laws for grilled steaks.

Brewed a hefe. 3 out of 4 batches for the summer. Using avangaard malz - wheat, Pilsner, and Vienna. Along with wlp 300. Busy morning so I went with a single infusion mash.

No brewing but prepping for one. Cut up just under four lbs of fresh Minnesota peaches courtesy of @JohnSnowNW . Thinking these might go into a DIPA or wheat beer

Not brewing but I gravity checked last week's rye IPA and is hit it's target FG. I'll be racking it to the secondary for dry hopping.

Just finished pitching yeast in my first ever batch. I brewed a brown ale extract kit with specialty grains. I think everything went well but time will tell

I brewed @FATC1TY 's chocolate oatmeal stout and hit my numbers dead on. However, fermentation has been sluggish. Brew day was a long one. I had to boil off almost 3 gallons.

I'll be brewing Tuesday for a club only Belgian home-brew competition. Many of our local craft breweries sponsor a sub style, and the winner of that style gets to brew on the pro system. One brewery chose "Belgian Rye Brown Ale". I'm brewing a Belgian Dubbel with 20% rye and a bit more bittering hops that the style calls for. Win or not, I'm looking forward to drinking it!

Long night of racking and bottling. I forget how much I hate bottling. 2 gallons of Brett Berliner over apricots. Didn't end up sanitizing them further. Drinking some more of the Galaxy DIPA early. Also built a makeshift basement cellar out of a cardboard refrigerator box that was a fort for my son over the winter.

No brewing. Kegged a DIPA today. And installed a CO2 manifold off one of my regulator gauges. Now a I have 3 beers on draft. I hope to brew something one of the next two weekends.

I brewed the base beer for the Mean Green Beer from Experimental Homebrewing yesterday. I kinda like the base recipe as is. I haven't decided on whether or not I'm going to do the "green" part of it or not yet, probably will though.

Finally got around to making this NB Chocolate Stout. Got everything in the fermenter around 10pm on Saturday night. No airlock activity in the morning, but bubbling away after I came back from lunch after church.
