I'm sure this is buried in a thread of people arguing and complaining, so I apologize for starting a new thread here, but this is simple. What exactly is SR-71 the exact same 2014 batch of assassin aged longer in the same PVW20 barrels? And if so how much longer?

It's the chocolate rain to assassin's Black Tuesday (TG version is better on both accounts). It's more chocolatey and sweeter. Both are crazy delicious and preference depends on what you are looking for. Aging is not the only difference but they come from the same stock.

I can see that TG is not very excited to give out details when they release this stuff, but I woudl assume that by now people would know - how much longer it was aged, any additional ingredients?

Just read the description on that other site or read the thread about it too

Great thanks, RB had a good description.

This is correct. What's included in Ratebeer's description is accurate, but it leaves out some details. There are more differences than just the amount of time aging. Since TG has not released those details, I won't either. But I have no problem stating that Ratebeer isn't quite correct.

How do you know all of this stuff? And you know where a second keg of sr71 is even though TG says the one in madison is for sure the last one? What gives

TG employs quite a few people. Those people have friends. Those friends talk. That's pretty much the basis for all of the insider rumors.

My point..straight from TG "this keg of SR-71 is the last keg in existence..."

A bad ass spy plane. Aka The Black Bird.

I thought it was rather common knowledge.

Correct me if im wrong, but I believe it was an old old wooden ship from the civil war era.

Ranger, I'd be surprised if TG was in possession of an old, old wooden ship, but nice try.

The pricing for that SR-71 is pretty gnarly but if I were there I probably couldn't say no. I'd be more interested in the MD though.

Even at $20 it's a pretty good deal. Secondary has the bottle at $250, which is more than $10 per ounce.
