What makes you like a WBAYDN post?

IF I'm even reading that thread, I like posts where A) I like the beer, B) I like any accompanying items (babes, music, food, cat pictures...), or any combination of those two.

 

If I've had the beer.

If I "admire" the beer.

If the post is creative.

If the post features a pet.

 

@FriedSlug said it already, basically if you're participating and I'm online you'll probably get a like from me. I don't take it too seriously, to me it's a bunch of like-minded people casually clinking glasses via internet, and that's cool.

 

Well, if I had two Prairie BOMB!s before 8 am, I'd sure as hell expect a few "likes."

-The music selection
-A great little story to go along with the picture
-Creative/cute pics (I smile or laugh, you get a like)

The WBAYDN thread is a combination of online concert/ entertainment/wish fulfillment/vicarious drinking/beer memories thread for me. I appreciate those that contribute!

 

I like people sharing what they're drinking, how their day is going and generally just taking the time to post something and participate. While i'm not in there as much as I used to, I try to go there every now and then and go through as many posts as I can giving them a like as a form of "thanks for sharing".

Good question! For me, personally:
A post of anybody who really seems to be enjoying whatever it is they are drinking. It's almost like toasting with someone I've never met.
Pictures of beer I love.
Pictures of beer I want to try.
A beautiful label or beautiful glass(I am a graphic design guy after all)
Food, pets, humor and well paired music.

Now I am going to be cerebral about it. heh. Cheers!

 

I used to just like post of beers I want to try or that I liked then realized I was being a snob so now I like every post with a picture or description

 

Good beer, good tunes, good people! Those are my only stipulations

 

Generally... nice pictures of the beer, cats or other critters doing something silly in the background of the beer picture, or a beer I've had and really like (or alternatively, one I've never seen that makes me go "wow, I want to try that one at some point.") Descriptions of the beer are good to have also.

 

Sometimes it's what (or how much) I'm drinking that makes me do it.
When I'm about two or three beers in, I start liking all sorts of things.

Ok I admit it. I like lots of posts daily and I like pets, selfies, artistic or lovely photos, good songs, bad songs, prose, poems, food and just saying hello to a friend.=)

 

Always needs a picture of the beer.
I need to like the beer. This is optional if the beer is accompanied by a hot girl in the picture or a good tune.
Dogs always help.

 

Main thing is the beer - if I want it, or like it, I'm more likely to like the post.

The rest is gravy in the WBAYDN thread, IMO. It might get a like if it is exceptional, but not usually.

But I only post and read the WBAYDN every once in the while. I am not a regular.

I "like" more than not

• music and pics are definite...much prefere a comment/narrative (not too long)...something to grab onto, if even a sentence
• even if I don't' like the beer or the music...I still respect the opinion of the BA and usually "like" it
• dogs are awesome, (these cat guys however, I don't know....
• love the outdoor shots (esp in/near water)
• twisted commentary and philosophical ruminations help with the connections
• the more I drink...the more I tend to "like" all posts....discrimination filter weakens as I flow and go

if there was a "dislike" for those who post any other beer other than the one they are currently enjoying---I would tap that one (WBAYD"N"snob, I admit)

All good...no matter, I try not to overthink...and am still working on my reactionary issues with those who don't realize the "N" means NOW in the BA communal share of the moment...connecting and engaging

I love the site...so I just ride the wave as can

 

Typically it's as simple as whether I actually like the post. I know that's redundant but it could be any number of things. If I like the beer the person is drinking, if I like the music they add, if they have a kick ass food pairing (thinking of you @5EKF) or if they just have an interesting story to tell. As I'm sure it is with everyone, it is a very subjective process.
