Lately I have been abusing my pallet with IPAs. Felt like a break this weekend. Not local but pick up SN Nooner. Super smooth, great beer! It's has some time on it too. Canned in Feb. Is it hoppier when fresh?

Back to my post title. Any local canned Pils I should try. I know about Gansett.

Cambridge Remain In Light. Think it's classified as Pale Lager.

Yeah--definitely takes a German pils approach to the hops. Love that beer.

Wish I could add BBC Czech pilsner to the list. DO YOU HEAR ME BBC I SAID I WISH I COULD ADD BBC CZECH PILSNER.

Elm City Pilsner from NEBCO fits the bill but they stopped brewing it to fulfill demand for Sea Hag, Gandhi, etc. I'm with Noble Jay Brewing Company in Niantic and we'll be brewing a lot of craft lagers. Our flagships will be Mo Pilsner (pre-prohibition pils brewed with 6-row malt) and Fatty Boom Boom (Baltic Porter). If you're ever in SECT give me a shout. We're always looking to get free beers out to people. Cheers!

If you're traveling to/through NH anytime soon, look for Moat Mountain's czech pils. Man that stuff tastes like gold after a day of hiking. Wish we could get it down here.

They exist, but they're not exactly ubiquitous. [IMG]

There is definitely a lack of canned Pils around here - and Pils in general. I always hope to find Pivo Pils cans fresh but it's rare. I do believe that Jack's Abby is supposed to start canning which should help fill the void of local canned lagers.

JAs new location should be ready soon. Hoping cans will follow fast.

I will be on the look out for Fresh Cut cans.

Oh please. It's rare that I can't find fresh canned Hag. Just ask my recycling bin. And Bot is on at the brewery almost always.

Not local but the 4 pack tall boy Pilsner Urquell are very good and can find nearly everywhere. Also, looks like DC Beau is canning a highly rated pils soon. Doesn't help you now but I'll def be trying that one.
