Either Three Philosophers or Not The Stoic. I felt that both brought something fairly unique to the table but as a whole I'm not a huge fan of American quads. Quads or Belgian Strong Darks in general are styles that I'm in the mood for less and less lately and when I am I tend to reach for old world favorites like St Bernardus, Rochefort or Gouden Carolus

I thought Lost Abbey Track # 8 was excellent.

I don't care for/rarely drink Belgian beer and thus not really in a position to judge whether or not what you say is true but I found the comparison funny regardless.

I'll be the first to admit that I like beers like Stickee Monkey, 5 Monks, Apis IV, and BBQ...but those have about as much in common with a Belgian Quad as Miller Lite does with Pilsners.

Three Philosopher's. I should note, though, that I have very little experience with American quads. Abt 12 is so far and away the best quad I've had, I'm not sure I could justify getting 3P again. 3P is $9.99 for a 750, and Abt 12 is $12.99, so I may as well go with the cream of the crop even if it means a few extra dollars.

    Wizard Burial Ground by Vivant.

It should be categorized as a centuple, because its 25 times better than any other quad you've ever had

Of the ones I've tried, Three Philosophers is my favorite. My massive sweet tooth puts it ahead of Sixth Glass.

Gonna go with the people that have said Sixth Glass. Now that this thread has illuminated how relatively limited the selection is I'd be curious to see a poll.

I havent tried many but The Sixth Glass is my favorite so far. I've tried Sierra Nevada Ovila. It tastes more like a stout or porter to me. As for the Belgians, R10 is my favorite so far.
