I guess. I will give it a bit then and let the train crash before I look again.

I did two IP trades at New Glarus for Wild Barrel. I traded a 4 pack of 2014 Black Note for 1 bottle of Wild barrel. Also did a 4 pack of Heady Topper for 1 bottle of Wild Barrel.

That might be a mistake. Wild Peach & VSB, the other home runs from this series, were never easy to get & are only getting tougher. Having sampled this one on Saturday, I'd say it is or will be in that league.

Waiting for the train crash leads to one of three things (I've waited & had all three happen): it never crashes & the "value" only continues to go north because it's a great beer (VSB how I wish I'd traded for you!), it crashes specifically because it isn't that great (anybody remember 'Box of Chocolates' years ago?), or it just meanders along at roughly what it's trading for now (which is what most beers do).

Whatever happens, trade for it if you want, don't if you think the price is too high, but don't count on any beer leaving the tracks!

    This is excellent advice.

I've completed and seen friends complete:

    2:1 Prop '14 multiple times
    1+:1 Backyard Rye
    1:8 BCBS '14
    3:1 Bramble Rye
1:3 Fruited non imp de garde bu's
1+:1 Wild Peach (I don't think this will happen again. The value of WP has actually risen over the weekend)

Having drank it, I think it's about where it's going to stay for awhile. I do think it's going to get better as it sits in the bottle, so in a year from now it may be trading higher.

I saw wild peach go 1:1 with bramble at least twice

Feedback for trading BBBB for West Ashley?

    1 BBBB : 1 WA
    1+ BBBB : 1 WA
    2 BBBB : 1 WA

Anyone see any of these trades get done? Thanks!

    1:1 sounds about right

Hey, Joe. In my view, Prop and WA are about 1:1. So from other posts earlier in the thread with deals closed for Prop, 2:1 or 1+:1 sounds about right, depending on wanting 2 bottles of Bramble or 1 with a solid plus. Good luck!

West ashley is on batch 7? BBBB is a one time beer 1:1

Ask for two, if someone makes that trade then good! Its all about each individual trade! Good luck OP

I'm quoting actual trades that got done. Not sure why the number of batches matters.

I'm mean, if that's the case, then why not trade 4 of these for a BVDL? I bet that gets done in a heartbeat.

It matters, so does cost (but not with these bottles), distro or no distro, but most importantly is demand vs supply which after looking at the forums is currently on his side.

What has accounted for the sudden rise over the weekend? Geo political turmoil? Oil prices? I'm tuning into the Tokyo markets tonight, that's for sure.

Seriously, I've read some crazy comments on BA and I'm sure I've written a few but this statement is plain silly.

I usually try to trade for a certain dollar amount, not trade hype value amount. I'll likely pass on this, unless I can find a decent human being who isn't asking 8x what they paid for it, and in just as hard to come by beer from me on my end. Tickets gotta tick, thank the Lord I'm not one.

I have no idea why...but prior to the last release it was 1:1 with VR. Now I don't think a prop would get you one. People have lost their dammed minds.

A new R&D release probably got people interested in WP again and a good amount of WP was traded away to get BBBB. People looking to trade it is down after the last 4 days, and people asking for it is way up. Just my opinion though, seems to make sense to me why WP might be tougher to get after this weekend.

What's to say it will age well? Most fruit forward beers don't get better with age

    The label says...

Just kidding. I actually think it will probably sour/tart up a bit in the bottle.
