    ----------------------------------------------
    How Sixterhood works:

    1) The current holder of the Sixterhood box will make a post in the Locals BIF thread saying that the signup period for the next Trip is open and will be open for the next few days. Anyone that would like to be a potential target for the box would send their address information in a BM to the current holder of the box. To be eligible the person must have:
    a) participated in Locals BIF rounds 1, 2 (summer 6'er), 3, 4 (winter 6'er), Anti Circle Jerk, or AA (current round).
    b) have not already received the Sixterhood box.

    2) After the signup period is over, the current holder will randomly pick the next lucky recipient of the Sixterhood box. They will not announce this person nor the number of people that signed up, but instead will start posting hints as to where the box is going (BIF style hints). If no one signs up to be the next recipient then, as the original founder, heystevec will be the final recipient (hopefully without him knowing that it is coming to him).

    3) The holder of the Sixterhood box will fill the box with high quality local bottles or wants and ship it to the target. Make it a kickass box, but with this group of people I know we won't have to worry about that. Also, add the targets name to the tracking board in the box and add any 'decorations' that you wish to help commemorate the box's visit to your state.

    4) Once the box is received by the target, they will post the pr0n for all to enjoy.

    5) Start over at #1

You do not have to enter every signup period. You can pick and choose when you want to be in consideration to be the next recipient. This would be nice if the current holder of the box is from your own state or an adjoining state or if you are going to be out of town for a while or whatever. Jump in and out as you please.

Question for our Colorado friends @Kramerbarthomer and @vitaminvert as well as anyone else familiar with the brewery Paradox. I admittedly had never heard of them until at a bottle share a couple of weeks when I had one of their Skully barrels (I believe #24 or 25), and I thought it was outstanding. Is Paradox's stuff hard to come by? I looked on here and most of their beers do not have great reviews, although the numbered beers do seem to do much better. What is the good word on Paradox?

Not from CO but they recently started distributing here in CA. Doesn't seem especially hard to come by, but maybe they have more limited stuff as well

Paradox and outstanding are two words I've never heard used in the same sentence  ... They're not terribly hard to come by. They're also not very cheap... They have a reputation of being a hit or miss brewery as far as I'm concerned, with a lot more misses that hits. They had a lot of problems with quality control in their early days and I've had several of their beers opened at shares that were absolute drain pours. I basically blacklisted them a while back because I'd had several bad beers and all of their stuff was so expensive... That being said, it does seem like they've been doing a better job in the last 6-9 months or so and I have had a couple beers from them in the last few months at shares that were better....

It's hard to tell when you have one beer (and didn't buy it). it was a 500 ml bottle, but most people at the share agreed that it was a really nice sour. (Granted our sour selection here is weak compared to what you guys can get). But if it is more than $12 or so, I would see your issue with the price. I have no idea what it cost but, in no way would I categorize it as a drain pour.

Edit: Just looked and it was Skully Barrel #24. I thought it had a very nice (non-medicinal) cherry flavor.

7 Day Old WOJA... Damn #LehighFresh. This batch is a little lighter on the WO and a little heavier on the fruit-hop aspects. Delicious! Mad props to CCB for finally (two years later) keeping up with the plan to have this brew hit distro every two months!

It pretty much begins and ends with the Bruery.

We just started getting Paradox in Chicago. I believe the first ones we received were 25 & 26. They are $16-$18 a bottle and for the pricepoint I thought they were a little underwhelming. But we also struggle with a solid shelf sour supply here...

That is pricey. Considering the Bruery sours here are mostly $20-23 and are at least 750s.

But thats not NJ, and what we get is very limited, at least down here. Just drank my last tart of darkness today.

Of nj brewery sours, we pretty much have none. Even distributed is weak, we had a decent about of tart of darkness up here.

Tuckahoe just released an apricot sour in bottles last month.
Bolero Snort is dabbling in sours. (Razbullied Rye was released and distro'd.)
Lunacy has a cherry sour at the brewery.
Cape May has several sours(Turtle Gut for example).
Carton has done a couple sours.
River Horse recently released a cherry Berliner Weiss.

Free Will sours & Boulevard Love Child are on shelves near me right now.

Is NJ distro the king of sours? Clearly not. But I think you have overstated the lack of options.

Unless I missed a guess, the winner is @Dave_Treat, with 1,111 (a very original guess) as I have 2,265 individuals in my family tree.

I'll get this out tomorrow with another package. Congrats!
