Karbach Vanilla BBH - Houston

This is something I'd like to start doing, in hopes of all those looking to be able to find these limited release beers. I use Twitter to notify those that follow me (@TheBeerGntlmn) and the chain (@Specs_Beer_Dept) on releases at the Smith St. location. Inevitably, these are met with questions of what other stores may have/will be getting. I have that information and have no issue sharing it, but Twitter isn't the best platform in the space allowed.

Additionally, my concern is people getting the beer. Of course, I'd prefer it was with the rabbit (Spec's), and especially with me, but at the end of the day...I don't care. So, I hope that other retailers and folks in general post their information/sightings in threads like this to help all in search.

That being said, I have confirmation that Silver Eagle will be releasing Vanilla BBH starting next Monday.

Spec's Smith St. (2410 Smith St.) will be releasing that morning, August 17th, at 10AM when we open. Limit will be 4 - 22oz bottles per person.

Additionally, the following stores will also be receiving product on their regular deliveries throughout the week. I'm unsure of how they will handle it or when they are getting it.

As always, we (Lisa and myself) had a lengthy discussion about the limit. With the quantities I'm seeing in Spec's chain for HOU, imagining that other retail chains are seeing something similar, I felt it appropriate to go a bit big this time. There is enough out there that anyone that wants will get. I've come to terms with the fact that this location cannot serve everyone to their satisfaction all the time. There's no telling how long it will last or what the line will look like, if there is one at all.

As stated in the original post, my concern is that people get the beer. I believe a limit of 4 at this location will serve that purpose here, without depriving others elsewhere.

 

This. There is a high probability of Spec's Smith St. selling out on release day. Whether that is by 10:30 as predicted above, or later. Plenty of this will be out in the market and all that are looking will find.
