I will do everything in my power to have targets out Sunday.

 

Was it ever discussed if this is intended to be a "big" round or a "small" round? We're buying a car this month (and I'm running two BIFs in the next couple months as it is), so I might have to bow out if it isn't specifically designed to be on the smaller end.

 

I haven't been involved in any previous Locals round, and with the 12DoH and Newbie BIF in motion I'm hesitant to join (and not sure if I'd be allowed yet?) - what are the rules you guys play by?

I think this is supposed to be 7 beers over 7% ABV.

 

I dont know thats what it is. It will be a challege for me seeing how I usually eat only 1800 cal if I am luck and weigh 165-175 lbs depending on if I took a good dump that day or not.

NBO – Locals Round Se7en – What’s in the box!?!

Time for the next round, folks! Signups for this round will begin NOW and close August 15th at 11:59PM EST. This is open to just about everyone who wants to enter, but those who have never participated in a Locals round before will ship in an early window. Targets will be out by August 31st, with early shipping window from September 1st to September 15th and the regular window spanning the entire month of September.

For Round Se7en, there will be a minimum ounce limit of 177oz. In addition, at least 4 bottles/cans must be 7% ABV or higher. Swag (t-shirts, stickers, coasters, glassware, local food items) is encouraged but not required.

Please BM all entries to me, @mklisz , with your shipping info, t-shirt size, no ship windows, likes/dislikes and any other information that might be pertinent.

 

Very tempting, as I do love Se7en and would like to ship someone a human head filled with 7% abv beers...

That said, I'm out for this one and will hop on the Locals #8 round (whenever that happens to be). 144+oz will be due for the Newbie BIF in the same window, and I don't want my cellar to take such a big hit leading up to the 12DoH and 12DoX.

Yeah I'm a little worried about doing 12 DoH, Newbie BIF, and Round Se7en all at once... that's one of the reasons I'm trying to keep 12 DoH and Newbie to a manageable level.

Also because I know Stout 5 (which I'm not doing, and am definitely sad about) is a big round and is also going on at the same time, so I want people to feel comfortable that they can do both without killing themselves over it.

 

Also, an update on the Tree House LIF... you have approximately 15 minutes to update your entry - or enter if you have not already.

GREEN has been canned today with a 6pp limit. No word on the yields, but I'm estimating 180-200 cases available. Since it's in high demand, and Thursdays have been a shitshow down at TH since they started canning, I'm going to assume 600 people buy the max today. That will leave 30-50 cases available tomorrow, where the limits will surely be lowered to 4pp or maybe even 2pp to ensure they last through the night.

Crossing my fingers I can get the gf moving early and we can get there shortly after the can rush and the growler line isn't too long!
