Just announced their anniversary party on their Instagram account. Halloween seems like an interesting day to host it.

I'm curious to see what the final blend is going to be. Anyone have any ideas / hopes as to what it'll be? I'm hoping for another blend like 17- heavy on the Bravo and Stickee Monkee. Really, anything that isn't stout heavy.

Anyone thinking about attending the party? Tickets on sale August 31st at noon

XVIII was my favorite blend I've had, probably because it was so parabola heavy.

I went last year, one of the best run beer events I've been to, definitely going this year.

Absolutely agree...18 was amazing. I've had one bottle and holding one more.

Agree with the OP 17>18 imo. Even though both were amazing

See, I enjoy Parabola, but as my palate has grown I don't enjoy it as much as I do other stouts. I still try it every year and I have a 3 year vertical going. I much prefer The Bruery's Weekday Stouts.

I'd like to see one of their tap-only beers be the majority of the blend, like Good Foot. Or here's a thought, how about something from Barrelworks? A sour anno anyone?

Here in TX we saw XVIII around mid March of this year. Most stores only received 1-2 cases (6-12 bottles) that sold out instantly. You really had to be on your game to score it.

I live about 4 hours from the brewery and I usually see the Proprietor's Vintage series bottles a week or two after the release date. That's impressive you saw it so close after the release all the way in Chicago

Yes. In PA I've been able to get 14,15,16,17 and 18. All when they were first released. They go quickly.

Steve, the anniversary blends do hit NYC with essentially the same volume as the rest of the proprietor's reserve series (Parabola, Sucaba, Double DBA, Stickee, etc.), so you should be able to come across a bottle or two if you keep your eyes and ears open.

Yeah, I got just one as well. 1 Parabola and 0 Sucabas this year, too. Just gotta get lucky and stay on top of Beermenus.

17 was absolutely amazing, 18 was great too. Can't wait till 19 hits Jersey, hoping to score 2 so I can try fresh and age the other.

I'm curious as to what the blend will be or what beer they use the highest % of. Eighteen was superb! I did enjoy 17, but not nearly as much. It could be that I had 18 on draft, but not the year before. Heres to another great year!
