Yeah looks like a silent release. I actually like that because I would never consciously try to get it (waiting 3 hours for 750 mL is too crazy) but I could land some if I ever got lucky and they released silently on a day I was there.

 

Scheduled to leave tomorrow around 3:30, and usually get off on schedule, though sometimes get stuck late

 

Yeah Good Morning posts are out of control in the snakepit lol. Someone in the area go drink it for me and tell me how good it is

 

Figured I'd do a #VCS since I haven't done a #VS in a while...



Honestly not a huge fan of session IPAs, as I prefer my IPAs to hit a little harder -- if I want to session something, I'd rather it be something like Gose, but this isn't bad.

 

I've only had a small pour at EBF but it was pretty damn good. Noticeably better than CBS IMO. But also not worth the chase if you ask me. Double Shot (tree house's coffee stout) is awesome in its own right and relatively obtainable.

Also happens to be two new ticks which put the total at 426 distinct...6 more ticks and @NickyPogs wins the LIF. I may be going to drink with him tomorrow. I wonder if he will tamper with the results and get DQ'd...

 

Considering how close I live to pizza boy I've had very little SSU, I feel like that's a crime....

to be honest, I've had more BA SSU than regular...

 

Did the bb coffee stout blind taste tonight, KBS, BCBCS, and SMS. All are very good. One stood out from the other 2. First a thank you to @Summer78 for the KBS and bcbcs!

3Rd SMS: huge coffee flavor, more than the others, nice barrel notes. Some vanilla. Hottest of the bunch. Slight after taste.
2ND KBS: less coffee, more barrel flavor, less heart from the alcohol. Feels a little thinner, but still very smooth.
Best BCBCS: almost perfect. Perfectly balanced. Coffee it's highlighted, not overpowering. Barrel brings the vanilla and toffee. No burn at all, and highest abv. Very smooth!

Funny to be saying anything negative about three of the best. Only when compared to each other. ..

 

No wonder these veggie chips are so fresh.

 

I got to tick my second locals handshake today. I met @JasonR1975 along with one of his buddies and @kgncfl at Witchs Hat for some beers. I have two hand shakes now. Technically 3 since I've had the pleasure of drinking with Keith twice now. Good times.

 

So my lif box for the cape cod trip will have a green can in it! And a eureka so please enter!

So has anyone ever been invited to their daughters tea party and you put beer in your tea cup? That invisible tea is just shite.

 

I know avatar changes have been pretty frequent and not all that significant around here lately, but mine today is. Today marks a year since the passing of my good buddy Ralph. It originally was my plan to toast him with a few Bulldog themed beers tonight, but I decided instead to make a weekend of it rather than get shitfaced tonight, so the beers @Mikexw generously got for me will be drank soon.


I figured I'd pour a little out and drink the rest, but since this is unfortunately infected, the ratio got flipped. No worries, the bottle means a lot more to me than the beer inside it anyway.

Cheers to you Ralph, you're still loved and dearly missed.

 

Unfortunately not this time. Whirlwind trip to meet all the new customers. Next time for sure. I've got a couple things set aside for you
