A few bottles into the sixer I'm warming up to this a little bit. I still think it's the weakest of their seasonals, but is a nice late summer drinker. I think my biggest problem with it is, at least IMO, it's overly bitter without enough flavor to balance it out

Tonight it's 3 kids, me, and this 2L growler of Abner, should be a blast. Tonight is also Taco night.

 

If I wasn't planning on being in bed in.... 2 hours or so, I'd probably take you up on that offer. One of these times, though.

 

Abner is one of the best beers I have ever had. If I was closer I'd make tacos and put those kids to bed for some Abner.

#VBS number 2 and final for the night. Homebrew that I'm pretty sure @twofacedmonster sent. Incredibly cloudy, when I did the initial pour it was fine, waited for the head to settle a bit, then slowly poured the rest... I could actually see the murkiness make its way down the glass... haven't tried yet, about to go in now! A little sediment never hurt anybody (I hope)
