Not sure if this should be in the Beer Releases section or not... anyway, can anyone give me a breakdown of what's different with this newest batch compared to the first batch? I know the base for this one is Rover Truck but can't find any info on what the base for batch 1 was. Any difference in adjuncts? Thanks in advance!

It's the same beer as the previous batches (there has been more than one other batch), and the base is definitely not Rover Truck. Guessing you got that from a sarcastic response in another thread.

This batch was made with the tears of all the people that got shut out of the release party.

All batches of Mornin' Delight (and Assassin and KBBS and SR-71) use Norseman's Wrath as a base. Other than this being a new batch and packaged in 22oz. bottles, there is nothing different about it. It's coffee and maple syrup (maybe oatmeal too, I don't know) in an imperial stout.

Rover Truck is DEFINITELY not the base. That was a joke.

Gotcha. That caught like fire on another thread, there were several people seriously discussing Rover Truck so I took it as true, lol. But cool, thanks for the info!

But are they using Clark's family's super secret maple syrup?

I wondered why they asked for those...

Did anyone check to see if there was a temporary spike in Rover Truck ISO's?
