"Sticky" IPAs

    Though I haven't had many, I tend to enjoy those IPAs and DIPAs with a more sticky mouthfeel...something like Permanent Vacation comes to mind. Is this due to the sweetness of the beer or just a particular characteristic? Anyone have recommendations for other sticky DIPAs?

    Sixpoint resin comes to mind. Super sticky mouthfeel

    Shorts Dan's Pink Skirt. Kuhnhenn DRIPA. Of course terribly hard to get if you're not from MI, but outrageously good!

    I find this characteristic in several of Lagunitas offerings. Particularly Sucks and Little Sumpin Sumpin.

    The sticky feeling is from the resin in the hops. Some hops give off more of a resin mouthfeel than others. Simcoe, Chinook, Columbus, Apollo are know for it, along with some others.

    Oskar Blues G'Knight. Sticky, as it says. Dont leave any in the glass, dries like honey.
