I'm going to be in Belgium during 3F Open Beer Days, but I haven't been able to find much information about this event. Has anyone gone to this event before or have any information about it?

I understand they usually have some pretty limited bottles for sale and offer tours of the brewery, but I'm not really sure what else to expect.

I went last year and it was awesome! We got a full tour of the brewery and barrel room, drank outside with Armand and his family, eat perfectly grilled lamb chops, and got to purchase 2008 OGV! We also ate at the restaurant and took a tour of the nearby castle. We hung out for hours, it was a great day in Belgium.

Thanks much. Any word on limits. I believe last year the vintage was 2 PP does that mean I can purchase 2 of the OGV vintage 750 ml and 2 of the 375 ml

When they say new could we possibly be looking at a return of Armand seasons. Perhaps something else...Armand & Tommy or even a return of Framboos

Ok here is my take on this new release. I dont think this is new in the sense that they will be re-releasing anything theyve done in the past. As many of you know Armand is now brewing his own lambic again after not brewing for many years due to the accident a few years ago.

I think this new release will be from what he has been brewing the last two years. Me thinks it will be a blend of his brewed 1 and 2 year old lambics.

You can for sure expect 1 PP.

It wouldnt surprise me if they put a cap on how many bottles they will sell per day. If they sell their entire 4000 bottles in 5 days that will be 800 bottles per day

So this is the newbie just announced?: 3 Fonteinen Zenne y Frontera is a lambic brewed on January 19, 2012, aged in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry barrels, and bottled in 2014. It is listed as 7% ABV and was released in August 2015. Approximately 4,000 75cl bottles were filled.

Do you think you can inquire about any daily sale limits for the bottles. For example if all the bottles will be available on the 1st day or will they split all the bottles for the 5 days to give equal chance for those coming in the other days.

Doesnt make any sense to sell all in one day....mules and family and friends will be in full force trying to acquire evrything in the first day if thats the case.

Do you think 3000 bottles will last the entire 5 days????

    Those are good questions
Armand did say that hi expects to see alote of people from the moment they open the doors on thursdaymorning
Most bottles will be 1 PP so i think they will have enough for the next few days

    Did he mention any prices?
My guess is 25 Euro for the Zenne and maybe 20 each on the OGVs.
