People in line at LB asking what beer is being released...

I wish it was a wee heavy release today.

 

Was hoping for more chocolate than coffee but I guess with a name like Mocha Machine I should know what to expect.

Long lines more than I expected.

 

I'm surprised when people keep being surprised by beer lines these days.

 

I'd expect a line for Mocha Machine. I wouldn't expect a line 70 people deep at 11:30AM.

 

Supposedly Seal Beach sold out of MM within 10 to 15 minutes ... half the line was only able to secure MM ... plenty of Citra was still available.

 

Don't people work?

 

Hope Citra and MM doesn't sell out !! Need to grab mine after work, but I'm sure both of these beers will see normal long beach distribution such as stearns

As long as I get to try it on draft, I'll be happy.

I tend to be surprised when it's in the middle of the week and people are already lining up for a release around late-morning/mid-afternoon. I'm there because my job allows me to work remotely but for some reason I find it hard to believe that most of the people waiting in line have that same situation as well--what are the odds, you know?

 

Be interesting to see how this turns out. If their releases start selling out in hours on a weekday at lunch then I hope they reconsider how they do things.

I'd highly suggest trying it, very, very tasty. I tried it side by side with Southern Tier Mokah, and I enjoyed Mocha Machine a little more.

Bummed it's not going distro.

 

I came for lunch and a beer release broke out.

 

Got my 6. Any news on how much they have left? I know SB sold out in 15 minutes and there will be no distribution.
