I use a Teku for most everything that doesn't have its own special shape.

I enjoy using a variety of glasses which suit a variety of beers. Anything from a coffee mug to an IPA glass, glencarin glasses and almost anything beyond that usually suits me but my favorite, most perfect glass is this Tiffany glass shown below (which has been discontinued). My guests and I have broken a bunch of them over the years and since they're discontinued (and rarely available on ebay), I have begun to opt for the Spiegelau Tulip which is slightly heavier than the Tiffany and more durable. It's less expensive as well but very, very similar.

While we're on the subject, for those of you interested in camping or hanging out at a pool or other places where glass is not optimal, and don't want to be barbaric when drinking beer, you might consider the GSI Outdoors Highland Drinking Glass. It's BPA free copolyester and beer tastes surprisingly good from it.

Whatever's full of beer at the moment is the perfect glass. Also, I like my Barrelwork's Teku.

Large tulip. Preferably hand blown in VT at Simon Pearce. Love this glass and their brandy snifter and heavy duty pint glasses aren't bad either.

You really can't go wrong with a tulip, it's the most versatile IMO. However, I love my hefes in their appropriate glassware and something about a good lager in a mug is so perfect.

Great glass. Simone Pearce stuff is really nice.

I know I just posted this the other day in the most bad-ass bottle thread, but I can't help it...

I tend to worry more about the beer than the glass for the most part, so while I have a modest collection of glassware, I really don't have a favorite.
Although I do think my Gulden Draak tulip is the coolest glass I own.

Probably a tulip, or something similar, even a simple red wine glass would be very versatile. I love Pils glasses too, I'm drinking a Freak out of a Pils and it works fine, the tight top concentrates the nose.

1980's Waterford crystal snifter. Makes every beer classy. Have some to trade for other glasses if interested...

I see these everywhere now but I really don't like them at all. They're good for 6 oz pours, but for a full pour they're too small, there's no empty glass space to capture and concentrate the aroma. It functions the same as a shaker pint, it just looks nicer.

For me, its between a Duvel tulip and a teku (not filled all the way, otherwise same problem as above). Both really bring out the aroma and make beers taste their best to me.

I love the Duvel Tulip, a stemless red wine glass, the sam smith imperial pint, and a sturdy goblet with a fat stem (I don't know if there's a specific name for the style) like this one:

Tough choice, but if I had to choose just one I think I'd go with my sam smith imperial pint. It's comfortable in my hand and big enough to handle an aggressive pour, and it looks nice when filled with just about any beer.

For me a chalice, I know when I use it, it will be for a special/higher ABV brew.

    Cheers!

At my brewery, I serve have all of our American styles in a Craft Master One. I would be comfortable with many other styles, but I prefer to have multiple types of glassware. I think it is the best all around glass

When those were available at the Dollar Tree I grabbed a bunch (and probably should've grabbed more )- I'd call it a straight tulip, or maybe an elongated snifter. They hold a 12oz. bottle with room to spare, too.

I use them outside a lot, too, because Dollar Tree, ya know...

Love my Stone tulip glass. Works great for all my stouts/barleywines/wee heavies/old ales.
