Finally got a chance to taste this year's. Excellent once again. Perfect example of what a well crafted light lafer can be. I hope they can this and make it a year round offering.

Went to the brewery yesterday. $12 for a 12 pack. How can you beat that?

Is this thread about largers, lafers, or lagers?

I thought maybe they did a stronger version of the Lager and decided to call it Larger. Which would be really cool.

For all the modesty of its intentions, it's a really good brew.

FWIW, it also sports my favorite Jack's Abby label. Color me retro.

Does anyone know if they sell single bottles of the Framingham Lager at the brewery? I am considering it as one of our wedding beers (goal is a local and much tastier beer for macro drinkers) but I've never actually had it. Was hoping to try it without having to buy a 12 pack. Thank you!

Definitely won't go to waste. Super clean lager. No off tastes at all. Julio's will probably sell you a single.

This beer can be confused as any other AAL, to me, so I wouldn't say it would be considered a "tastier" option for people who normally drink non-light BMC.

House Lager might be a better choice (it's certainly what I'd choose but then I'm not an AAL drinker), but I'm not sure it's available in large quantities.

I do like the House Lager, but it's quite a bit more expensive and only in 500ml right now as far as I know.
