    Looks like Sprites from the high atmosphere raining down.
    Some of the NASA photos show them covering 50 sq, miles.

    Dinner beer.........picked this up on my lunch break today....hmmmm, better than I remembered last years!

    With "pumpkin juice", cranberries and lemongrass....very tasty!

    Story in my local paper about a "Bar Rescue" at Ripper / Tim Owens (ex-Judas Priest) bar, right down the street from me, getting a "bar makeover" for a Spike TV show....wondered why I saw all these TV cameras there the past few days!

    Tim Owens is from Akron, my hometown (also Devo, Black Keys, Chrissie Hynde, etc etc----we rock!!)

    Ok haters. Smaltz puts out some decent brews IMHO. Sweet Lenny RIPA has to be up there with one of my favorite Ryepas. Yes bottle dating in non existent and some stay on the shelves forever. But when purchased fresh they can be quite delightful. (Shit did I say that ? Sounds like work in a flower shop) anyway to reality.This a-hole is drinking what they in their Lenny Bruce like sense of humor call a session IPA. Two row Maris Otter, Victory and flaked oats in the mash with Warrior, Calypso, Crystal, Citra and Simcoe. How can you go Wrong?[​IMG]

    This is a special beer for me. It is my 1000th different beer. I have had 1000 different beers from 243 different brewers from 33 states and 28 countries. 83 different styles. It has been a great ride and I was glad to share this fun time with my BA friends and family. Thanks for the fun times. Heres to the next 1000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Still hoping an investor steps up and saves then A*TREAT factory! Something from my youth and living in PA you HAD to have A*TREAT sodas in your house. We used to get the flats of returnable foil topped bottles from the distributor (you PA folks know what I'm talkin' 'bout) and always love the Treat Up and Cream sodas.

    Following a fresh Jai Alai last night with an ever fresher White Oak Jai Alai tonight. My first WOJA and it doesn't disappoint, it smooths out the base beer well and makes for an interesting IPA.

    I had one of these left from last year with the old label. I can't wait till Sept 1st for the new ones. My fave pumpkin beer and the first one I ever had. Maybe that's why it's my favorite lol.
