    I was also partial to the birch beer myself. The almost neon red cream soda was pretty tasty - the grapefruit got me later in life. I'll have to check out the news, as it were, on the place in a few.

    A-Treat, grandma's sausage, other grandma's rice pudding, ring bologna, and chipped beef are the food "novelties" I recall from those visits. Parents would always bring A*TREAT home from our visits.

    Now to catch up on a few posts...

    Oh I know your true feelings on this beer, yet it sounded so good after the day I had at work. Not to worry I have some interesting beer in the Fridge to attend to tonight, that or Knob Creek.
