I'm headed out on another business trip, this time to San Antonio. Staying on the river walk. Anyone have any suggestions for brewery/food/bottle shop? Anyone in the area and want to tick a hand shake?

 

I did some heavy-duty shopping this afternoon for Round Se7en, so here's another hint for those keeping score at home: Hint #3: Your state has coastline.

This beer wasn't on my target's Want list, but then again Headroom was probably just a twinkle in JC's eye the last time most Locals seriously updated his/her Wants...

Having a few beers tonight I think, this is #VCS #1. Not bad, not great. Had a can like two weeks ago and apparently thought it was a bit better, but that was also after 32oz of BBA SSU....

 

I think I'm somewhere in the mid-4000's, although now when I get back from vacation I might need to add an "oz" column to my inventory spreadsheet to be precise

 

Dave I'm afraid you're in a Locals wasteland. But you should definitely hit up Freetail. You gonna be home tomorrow?

 

My wife is sleeping over at my MIL's tonight while she is out of town to, wait for it............................make sure the cats aren't too lonely. Hooray!! So just me and the kiddo for two hours till bedtime then I get to drink as much as I want without "The Stare". Starting out with another home run from @Kramerbarthomer . Have a good Friday night Locals, hide the Barbies!

Color me confused. not your name on the alert...maybe 2 coming my way! Anyway, to your original question, yes I'll be home.

As tourist-y as it is, my girlfriend and I love the riverwalk. Usually get up there about twice a year. Love Boudro's for food and Iron Cactus for margaritas. Not a whole lot of great beer on the riverwalk, we usually just drive out to Freetail for that. Don't know SA very well, but I'm sure if you google-map a Spec's (our Texas local liquor store chain) or HEB (local grocery store) you'll find a handful of great local beers.

Allright, I don't know what to with all this beer. Tell @Clarkson you'd love a growler of Live Oak Hefe and Yellow Rose and he drops 15 other beers on me. This guy seriously bombs my porch like no one else. Super excited for the Pirate Noir, Mole Temptress, and the BA Inspiration! Thanks Josh!
