I really enjoyed this beer! Got it at two weeks old in Ohio and was digging how it was tropical and yet dank, piney and resinous all at the same time.

Also want to mention how the trend with newer IPAs, DIPAs, etc. has been to focus on hop aroma and flavors without adding bitterness and this had the bitterness for sure! Reminded me of the classic West Coast DIPAs with a solid bitterness and hugely hoppy. Best Stone beer in awhile for me.

I'm not understanding why some of the official reviews for this beer are somewhat low. Cracked my bottle last night, and I feel it was fantastic. Clean, with fruity notes of peach and a deep, lip-smackig bitterness. It's great.[IMG]

I'm very hit/miss with Stone IPAs. Both Pale/Ruination 2.0 I enjoy probably more than any other Stone hop forward beer. Ruinten was a big miss. Delicious was an even bigger miss. I usually like Austrailian hops so if its tropical and smooth/not bitter finish I will probably enjoy it.

It's about time Stone reproduced the dankness I loved in Enjoy By 12.13.13 and 2.14.14.!!! The early renditions of the Enjoy By series had that classic Stone fruity/tropical finish-- whereas this IPA is a bit more on the dry/bitter side. Solid DIPA.

Had a bottle last night. It was probably the first Stone beer I have had since Xocoveza that made me say to myself "well done Stone". Not Earth shattering or anything like that, but solid nonetheless. It is certainly worth tracking down and at trying it. I will be grabbing a few more bombers before its gone.

Not sure if you are still looking or live in SE Pa, but The Beer Store in Malvern has it.

It's citrus in the beginning but quickly changes over to a more earthly flavor. Pretty solid and different.

I thought this was pretty ok, good but not great. There's definitely some kind of savory element to it that I couldn't put my finger on.

Add me to the believers. Probably the best new IPA I've tried this year.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 5 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.75

Served on tap in a pint glass at Stuft Pizza, Milpitas

A: Lovely golden color, a bit cloudy but that's probably in part due to the frosted glass. Full finger of fluffy white head.
S: Big grapefruit, pine, resin, garlic onion, orange and pineapple right upfront, just assaulting your nose. Right up in your face. Shades of mango, peaches, passionfruit, more citrus. Light bready malts in the background. Just plain awesome in terms of aroma.
T: Upfront its sweet malts mixed with tons of tropical fruit. Peaches, mango and pineapple come through very strong in the initial flavor. Pine and grapefruit come through in the middle mouth and finish as there's some dank, resin and bitter flavors to counter the sweet tropical start.
M: Medium bodied, super dry. It's that signature Stone feel you expect from their larger IPAs.
O: Wide range of hop flavors and aromas. Every sip was interesting as there was so much going on in this beer. Quite possibly my favorite new IPA. Get yourself some while this lasts.

Definitely my favorite IPA from Stone this year but not the best overall IPA release this year. Just my 2cents. Nonetheless lucky that I was able to enjoy it and kudos to Stone for pulling me back in again with this release along with the recent Xoco variant release.

Picked up a bottle at Whole Foods over the weekend.

    Will try it tomorrow.

Having been a fan of Enjoy By and Mo Shuggie (New Zealand hopped), I think i'm going to really like it.
