if you ever get the chance to trade with Brien, you would be crazy not to. Beerdy and I have sent a couple of boxes back and forth for over a year now, when one day he tells me a box will be to me on a Saturday. I was like "cool, give me a bit and I will hit you back". He found out about my impending surgery that will pretty much prevent me from drinking beer for a good 2 mos and sends me another "get well" box. Brien, you are the man, and more people need to know of your generousity. You are a great example of what a BA should be. cheersya
Can't comment on trading with Brien, because I haven't (yet!), but when I was out in Cali, he specifically set up and hosted a second tasting up in the Bay Area just so he could open a Duck Duck Gooze for me. Thanks again, Brien!
Beerdy is indeed the man, I feel very fortunate to be able to see him frequently at tastings. Also, I definitely hope you have a speedy recovery, lobo.
I had mentioned to my buddy Kurtis offhand when I was visiting California that I hadn't tried St. Lamvinus. He shot a quick text to Brien, who brought a bottle over to open the next day before we went to a bottle share...hadn't even met the dude yet. And he had a crazy Private Pyle t-shirt on that freaked me out all night.
Crazy generous trader. I have been staring at a 12 bottle shipper with one empty spot for a long time.... once I get that last bottle (something he hasn't tried yet, which is amazing in itself) I'll be dropping a ton of sour goodness on him! And yeah..... Brandon is pretty damn generous himself!
Yeah John and I have a box that will be going out to you soon too. Just was waiting for a couple last pieces...
