The line was pretty absurd. I think there were two schools of thought on how the line would go. I had every intention of being able to go at 11:30am and grab it before the 12 release. I literally ran to the brewery at 9am because I heard that there were 200 people on the line, but I'm guessing everyone else threw in the towel (lucky for us) when they found this information out because there was a major stall in people coming after that. Probably was around 220 online out of the possible 300 people being able to get bottles. I'd say there were only about 20-30 people behind me. So some people from south lyon got really lucky as they were able to grab the bottles without camping out all night or getting there at 5am.

 

People still seem to want ridiculous stuff for this. I was turned off to buying in on the hype after someone I respect in the Bay Area said they were kind of meh. I wouldn't pony up both Nooner 10 and &+ for a reg DragonTrax (what people are asking for). Just food for thought, but you'll probably get some 'tickers' that are willing.

 

DragonTrax is the best out of the group in my opinion. Definitely more layers to it than most beers. If they could increase the thickness / mouthfeel a bit it'd be top tier imo....yes, I've had Thrusday and same ballpark overall to me personally. /2¢

 

What would I have to put up to get double barrel huna? I have all 3 variants.

Same story different release. There's always the few that over do it and ask for everything. Just remember there's more reasonable people out there than you think.

Couldn't make it to the release so I had to trade for mine. Landed it with a 750ml Black Note.

 

There was a post last week that had been marked "closed" offering a Dragontrax for any two of the following bottles:

I was skeptical that it actually got done, but I guess you never know.
