Think they put on another right at 4. I was the 1st one in the door. Sure everyone thought I was a jerk for having my 2 girls with me but was just there to try it.

So true That was great for business, ended up sitting in the tasting room for countless hours. But, man those few weeks were a bit crazy. After that release they fortunately created El Cat. I wouldn't be surprised if Westbrook ends up going that route as well. Cuts down on the phone calls at least.

This thread was a great Saturday morning read. Thanks for all the wackiness. Being a Charleston transplant to Hawai'i, it's fun to remember how lucky I was to live there. Now all I can get are bottles of Cantillon, Lodgson, Cascade, and Drie Fonteinen, just to name a few. Problems...

Ok, can't argue with that. Our small days are our great days back home.

Looks like WB listened to the locals. Too bad for me, it was after I moved away. Others will still gripe and complain, but they'll still want it at the end of the day.

Here's a question for those who have experience with BA Cake bottle releases in the past? Once word starts to get out of a release, how long does it typically last? I'm just two hours away in the Savannah area and would consider making the drive up if I could grab a bottle for myself.

I doubt it will last two hours, if they are silent releases. The idea stays the same, they want everyone coming back, all the time, to wait and see if they're going to make the release, once they start releasing them. Once they go into the cooler, the beer-trading internet is going to break. Just like Cigar City did in the beginning with all their Hunahpu variants and original 25oz format madness.
