    A place in Cleveland got a case last month for a Bell's dinner. Not sure if it was 15 though.

    Does anyone know if Black Note makes it to all of Bell's distribution footprint? I'm wondering if it will reach California.

    Similar to the giant $hit show that was Bells yesterday for Oberon release...was hoping it would keep people away but not so much

    Is Black Note released every year? I thought I had heard once that it's not a reliable annual release.

    Most people don't know, or realize, that Black Note ages for 14+ months. I don't remember when the release was last year (midsummer I think). So eventually there will be a year where there is no release. Personally, "take your time and do it right", sounds better to me. Also, just popped a 14 and it was pretty damn tasty.

    It's not every year. There really was no '13. Heard from multiple unconnected sources (none of which Bell's directly so take it FWIW) that Saturn used the barrels that Black Note would have used. So the last release was March? '14. So take the 14 months quoted above, add in a cycle for Saturn, and that puts the release on exactly....nobody knows.

    yeah, can confirm as well. A brewery the size of Bells isn't running low on cash to buy bourbon barrels. Directly from a brewery representative to me "Black Note is in barrels, when the brewers say it is ready, it will be ready." There is no ETA as of now, or if there is, they are keeping it a secret.
