I am trying to put together a taste off of Barrel Aged Stouts and I am trying to have as little variation as possible so the beers are actually comparable.

    Here are the stipulations:
-Must be bourbon or whiskey barrel aged
    -11% or less
    -No adjuncts added
    -Somewhat easy to obtain

I was having a very hard time coming up with a list. The only ones that I came up with were:
    -Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout
    -Dragon's Milk

    Help a brotha out!

If you don't mind the extra .2% = KBS

So wait you actually read his original post and didn't just throw our BA stouts that don't qualify?? That's insane.

I really dug Central Water's Barrel Aged Stout....it didn't have that luscious mouth feel, but that Aroma is a Bourbon Lover's Dream.

Thought of three more Ohio ones:

Hoppin Frog BA BORIS and/or DORIS
    Jackie O's BBA Dark Apparition

I see you have quite a few trades under your belt, so assuming these are "relatively easy to obtain" since I've personally sent them as extras before.

Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout - came out the same time as KBS and is at least as good

Again, OP said no adjuncts... SMS has coffee.

    Prairie Noir is another one.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't pretty much every stout have coffee? However small that amount may be.

No, pretty much every stout does not have coffee. Many stouts have a coffee aroma or flavor from malts used, but coffee as an adjunct is a different story.

    Barrel Aged Ten Fidy.

Might be tougher to get but it is damn good and you can trade for a crowler.

Arent malts an amazing thing! So awesome that you can impart those great coffee notes without actually using coffee.

Brooklyn Black Ops doesn't have adjuncts but it's fermented with Champagne yeast.

Most of my faves fall in the 11 to 12% range, so they would be excluded.

Second the recommendations for Barrel Aged BORIS and Barrel Aged DORIS. I'd add Weyerbacher Heresy to the list. Probably won't win the OP's "taste-off," but it meets all the criteria.

Black Note is 11.4% if that qualifies. Still my favorite BA beer of all time.
