I am usually "sober" enough to do only 1 of 2 things after Friday at Jackie O's:

    1. Get food at Uptown Grille or Big Mama's
    2. Find my way back to where I am staying without having to make some phone calls to figure out where I am

It's anybody's guess as to which one I will succeed at this time...but it probably won't be both.

Has anyone else noticed that the one bottle being released, as well as the draft is being referred to at just "Cherry Man" as opposed to "Cab Cherry Man" as it was in the past. Maybe Brad can chime in, but I hope that this is just an oversight and the recipe hasn't been changed or anything. I haven't seen labels, but are they different to? Did they use different red wine barrels instead of just using Cabernet barrels?

This was a picture on Jackie O's Instagram a couple days ago. I assume they are the new labels?

I was wondering if I was the only one that can't imagine having a bottle share in the middle of all of this. Do some of you have a second liver or something?

TTB didn't like "cab" in the title. Same beer, same label as last release... A few years back.

What is everyone looking forward to from the tap list? I've only had 3 so I am going for the White Apparition first, then maybe Hoptimum squeeze, the watermelon/mint/lime, ohio pale ale, and the kriek. I don't know, I hope I get to try them all. I don't know how quickly they go. I can't believe how much they have at one time.

I understand what some of you lightweights are talking about when it comes to the taps ;p

I just feel like I can get to try everything I want to between 2pm-7 or 8pm on Friday (pacing myself so I can actually know what the beers taste like),still enjoy a bottle share that night. Then pick up what I missed on Saturday and revisit all the highlights.

I guess I'll take boss pours of stuff available a few times a year over drinking bottles I can have anytime? Pretty sure I look back on my 20 Token pours and don't think "man I'm bummed I missed that bottle share". But to each their own!

Team Taps Team. Get me started with samples of everything early, then get me full pours of anything I want for the rest of my night.

The strategy of champions. Also the strategy for a Saturday morning hangover...but it's always worth it.

Haha you're like 6'5", Josh, aren't you? My 6-foot, buck-fifty frame ain't got time for both the taplist and a bottle share!

Why does anyone care if some folks want to bottle share? We all dig into those taps irregardless, a lot of people enjoy the bottle shares because it gives them a chance to catch up with friends they don't see very often.

I don't care if people bottle share but for ppl who are coming down for the first time I'm simply providing some reasoning why you may not want to do so if you haven't been to a Jackie O's event before. Catching up with friends is awesome! I wish Jackie O's didn't make me stare into my beer while in their bar and not talk to any of my friends there :grinning:

I don't think anyone cares what other people decide to do. Where did you read that? Some people are just saying what works for them.
