@JNForsyth when you go by Bill's in Beaufort (it's pronounced Beeewfort of anyone not from around there), see if they have the latest canning (around 8/15) of Holy City Overly Friendly IPA. I'm really enjoying that beer lately. You may have missed Citrus Ninja Exchange from Westbrook, but Bill's has growler fills, and may be on around then. Also, anything from Revelry Brewing out of charleston that you see on draft is going to be worth a shot. That brewery is going to be big time. Other SC beers I'd recommend:

Tell Fripp Island I said hello. We vacation there every year, but because of the trip to Ireland, the new house purchase and baby # 2 on the way, decided to forego this year. I miss the shit out of it though. My favorite place in SC besides Williams-Brice Stadium.

 

Yes, great info Joel, I'll look for and probably purchase all of these beers if I find them.

My wife was down there this time last year and Bill's still had bottles of Citrus Ninja Exchange so I've had it before, do they fill other/any growler if I bring my own?

Fripp Island is beautiful, too rich for my blood though, we stay on Harbor Island (have family friends who live year round there) and spend our beach time on Hunting Island.

We had a little Michigan on Michigan crime today when @NJB145 dropped this on my porch. It's Sweet Water Street. Lots of coffee and you can actually smell and taste doughnuts. He also included a can of Gonzos Vanilla Porter which is right up my alley. Thanks Nate.

 

Yeah, we rent at Fripp. Can't afford it otherwise.

Most places in SC fill any growler. I'm not sure on Bills, but you can call and ask b/f you come. I'd guess they would though.

 

Hey Dave_treat mentioned me in an earlier post as one of his "handshakes" new to viewing this group and hanging out, and I was wondering if anyone would be a doll, and let me know what the hell a LIF is I am guessing from reading a box of beer but not sure what it stands for and what the stipulation is....thanks btw sent 79lb box recently haha....

 

Lottery It Forward, basically just a way to give away a box to ingratiate yourself to the group or kind of a "jumping in to the group". You propose any question etc. and have people guess and give a box to whoever gives the right answer or closest answer.

I considered for a tiny second. That beer at a bar for $40 is still cheaper than me driving to Austin and sitting in line for it.

Is it hard to get? Pretty sure one of you crazy locals sent me a bottle. It was pretty good but wouldn't pay $40 or wait in an especially long line for it (says the guy who spends 4 hours on a trip to Tree House pretty regularly).

 

Still showing "on vehicle for delivery" to a porch in CT. Hopefully no problems.

ITT: Erika's face when she gets home and finds Greg drank all the Casey that was in the box.

We've got impact.... and my porch is in shambles. Apparently my sender was under the impression that there are two Chicago breweries that I really like.... He was right. (actually there's a lot more than two, but... damn.)

Round Se7en Hint: In the timeless classic "Fifty Nifty United States" my target's state appears in the first half of the list. It is also amongst a group of states mentioned near the very beginning.

 

Bonus Round Se7en Hint for Today: Holy crap son, your wants list is extraordinarily challenging. I can and will hit a couple wants, but this is proving to be the most challenging BIF I've been in. Might need to be talking with my boy up in Denver to get some ideas / help.
