    Oh, I never meant to insinuate that high ABV was itself a preservative, that can't be true unless you're drinking spirits. Even a 20% ABV beer (were such a thing even possible back then) might spoil over a long sea journey due to poor technology levels and high residual sugars.

    Bells around here are hit and miss especially the planet series. Hopefully this will be readily available and I WILL grab a sixer!

    edit: Side note I was born in 85 so bells is as old as me. AWESOME!

    I'm wondering how readily available this will be. Really hoping it's not single bottle sales for $5 a pop. I have to think they brewed enough of this that it's somewhat easy to pick up a 6-pack.

    I'll bet there's metric tons of this stuff. Should be easy to get six, especially in Michigan.

    Any reason you say that? Cause the Planets beers were pretty tough to get around here, and I figured this would have similar production numbers.

    Thought they'd maybe follow the same process as Expedition just with different ingredients. So maybe an Expedition size batch?
