Depending on the style, save it for a rainy day, if I am unable to cellar it, drain pour :slight_frown:.

Give it away to a few friends who enjoy that style.

As others say this is rare as I seldom buy a sixer that is untried or completely vetted here. The couple over the years I have been able to give away so someone that tried it and liked it. My Son's friends are especially good at this.

Yeah, I try not to make a habit of it. But, every once in awhile I'll end up with something undesireable based on a recommendation by a trusted beer store employee or friend. I've been led to discover winners more often than not, so, overall, it's worth it to me.

If it's something local or not distro'd to an area where I have an upcoming trade, they make great extras.

fair enough, it's funny for me i really end up more with an overabundance of old standyby beer that I need to get rid of than bad beer, you know like classic stuff, for example of got six cans of SNPA in the fridge that have been there for like a month and it's a great beer i just havent opened any in a while

Rarely happens to me, but when it does I cook with it, usually some brats or Polish sausage.

It turns into brat beer for me. Add some onions, some cayenne pepper and boil away your bad purchase.

I can usually choke through about anything, but will put those I don't care for in the emergency ration area of the fridge.

This reminded me that sometimes when I drink a beer I say to my self "nah this isn't that good" but then I look at my beer and realize that I almost drank the whole thing. What could this mean? Could it be my thirst bullying my taste?

I will usually suffer through them or ask a few neighbors if they want to have a tasting one night and pawn them off...

Pawn them off on unsuspecting victims, or leave them at someone's house after a bottle share:wink:.

I share it with regular customers. Last time i bought a six of Out of your gourd pumpkin porter and only drank two, the other four i brought to my store and a gave them to a regular who really likes pumpkin beer.

Ah, all the health benefits of alcohol without having to drink what you don't like. Sorry homeless guys no more free beer for you.

I always give them away with a disclaimer or dump them. I might try a second one again just to make sure but I never choke down an ounce of beer I do not like. This is not about snobbery either. Only so much alcohol and calories I want in my life so I make every one count. I dump more than I drink both at bottle shares and at an establishment.

It is pretty rare I end up with a 6 or 4 pack of something I don't like and won't enjoy drinking - if I am even slightly on the fence about a beer I look to get a single to try first.

I've done all if the following:
    - Drain pour
    - Give it another try. If still not to my liking then drain pour
    - Serve/share at party

Drink it. Alcohol does not go to waste in this household.
