Night Shift Whirlpool & Morph cans

Fresh batch of Santilli and Morph was packaged today. On sale in the taproom now and out to stores starting tomorrow. Hope you all enjoy!

 

Any Whirlpool to go with that?

 

No Whirlpool cans this time. We didn't get the hops in time to brew a batch for this run. But brewing Whirlpool this week and will be canned again on June 17.

 

What's the plan for Morph, now that Santilli has hit the ground running?

 

2 weeks for Whirlpool!! I'm getting the shakes!!

 

Glad to hear Morph is continuing on. I wasn't sure if it would once the Santilli recipe was decided upon.

 

The current plan is to sprinkle in some Morph batches every few canning runs when the production and canning schedule align. This current batch of Morph (6/3/15) is basically the Whirlpool grain bill but hoped very intensely with Simcoe, Equinox, and Ella. Its really a lovely and full flavored IPA at only 4.3%. Its very delicious!

 

I'm in Bellingham, MA. Will Santelli be near me? Vin Bin Hopkinton?

 

Vin Bin is not getting cans this round. The closest spot to you will likely be Julio's in Westbourgh or Yankee Spirits in Attleboro. They will get their can drop on Monday.

 

Any going out to Yankee Spirits in Sturbridge?

It's finally time for 16oz cans of Whirlpool. Fresh batch goes into the new cans Wednesday (7/1). Hope everyone enjoys that larger format!

Are these going to ship out this week or should we expect to see them hit shelves next week?

 

The cans will ship out to stores the following week due to logistical challenges. But the taproom will be fully stocked for 4th of July needs.

 

The 8/19/15 batch of Morph is tasting quite nice to me. Anyone know what the abv is?

 

Agreed. One of the best of the series. Trillium level juicyness with a distinctive NS profile. One of my favorites of the series since last Oct.

 

This batch is 6.3%. Typically you can find the details of the Morph releases on www.nsbeer.com/morph (although the page was accidentally taken down, it is now back up).

Congratulations @masterob8 on the one-year Morph anniversary! I had no idea the series had been going so long.

 

Wow, we totally didn't even realize that. Crazy first year of 16 batches of Morph. We thought the concept was either going to confuse the hell out of consumers and flop or be a mild success. A year later and the concept is still going strong. Next batch of Morph to be canned on September 23rd.

 

Well IMO it's going to take a lot to better the 8/19 batch drinking one now and wish I had a lot more.
