Which Fall releases (non-pumpkin) are you all looking forward to this year? Excited for the harvest ales and different takes on the seasonal flavors. Cheers!

My preferred fall/autumn beers are Oktoberfest beers.

    Cheers!

Really love the harvest ales as you mentioned. One I am especially looking forward to is the arrival of Schlafly Tasmanian IPA. It becomes available every October and runs until February. It's my absolute favorite IPA.

I've been enjoying some pumpkin beers but other than those, Bell's Best Brown and Nosferatu are definitely my most anticipated fall releases.

Oktoberfests, Brown Ales, porter/stout variations and harvest ales. I also tend to drink a lot of cider in the cooler months.

This year for me it's Victory's Weizenbock. It's a newer style for me that I only had for the first time this past June and it was love at first sip (Aventinus I believe). Not sure if it will appear locally, but I'll head for Downingtown if I have to.

Breckenridge Autumn Ale is (more or less) an old ale and is delicious.

I certainly enjoy the Oktoberfest beers and currently have a stash of the SN and Ayinger versions. I am also looking forward to the wet-hopped ales.

Has anyone tried the Anchor Big Leaf Maple? I saw some on the shelf yesterday and was intrigued...

The wife and I cracked a sixer of Great Lakes Oktoberfest this past weekend. It had been quite a while since my last tango with this beer - several years, I think - but it really knocked my socks off both as a Marzen and a great fall/autumn drinker. Not sure if it's mulling spice or something other autumnal flavor addition, but I'll be drinking this one well into the Thanksgiving season, especially given the slightly hefty ABV, at least for the style. In fact, it might have enough body to stand up to some Turkey Day foods. Wonderful beer.

I love pumpkin beers, but some of the other fall variations I always enjoy are Oktoberfests, brown ales, and harvest ales. I like the Bruery's Autumn Maple as well.

Also, Founders Porter. Perfect for a chilly fall night.
