Alright, the SixterCAN is being shipped today, going to a person who I have shipped to and/or received from in the past. Recipient was chosen via double-blind taste test and 5 out of six dentists did not approve of my random selection. Cheers to this giant fucking behemoth of a box leaving my house! It has been like a solemn golem standing in the corner of my house silently judging me for every day I delayed sending it out.

 

I've got to find a brewery close to me that offers these "extras"

All other stouts/spiced - Cigar City Tulip (Used to have a favorite Fellowship of Oklahoma Ale Makers tulip that was by far the best tasting glass ever made but alas it was destroyed and I have not been able to find it's likes again.)

I would probably "extra" it. Your target wants it, and if it hasn't been made in a few years a) this might be his last chance to get it and b) you apparently don't plan on drinking it yourself.

 

Like a lot of other folks, I use #properglassware when I have it (the main beers I like that I own glasses for are probably Trillium and Plan Bee, but there are quite a few others). Other than that, I tend to use my Speigelau stout glass for stouts, my "Big Mike's Pub" Weizenglass for Goses, and tend to rotate among what I happen to have upstairs in the kitchen for other styles (my traditional favorite for DIPA's is my Hopslam tulip and for IPA's is my new Treehouse tulip or my Peekskill tulip if I'm sharing.) I also sometimes try to be consistent with style and use my Jack's Abby glass for Lagers, Plan Bee glass for sours, etc.

 

Don't know what made it so great. It was just perfect!
