I recently had Palo Santo Marron for the first time and loved it. One thing that really struck me was how long it took me to drink that single pour. It was so big and flavorful that I was practically forced to drink slowly and savor every small mouthfull.

What is your favorite beer to pour up, sit back, and enjoy, one small sip at a time?

    Prost!

Most of Avery's big beers play that role for me. Black Eye, Uncle Jacob's, Tweak, 5 Monks, etc.

From The Bruery: Black Tuesday, Chocolate Rain, Bois, Brandy Bois, Grey Monday. I think I sipped on all those beers for at least 4 hours.....(pansy arse that I am :wink::stuck_out_tongue:)

A big Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout!

I don't think it gets too much better than a BCBS! I love watching that beer change as it warms!

I agree with this. And the more bourbon-forward the beer is, the better I enjoy it. BCBS is also my first choice, but it's hard to get here in Michigan, so my next choice is Arcadia's Shipwreck Porter. It's fairly easy to find year-round if you don't mind the price.

For me it is Old Rasputin by North Coast Brewing Company. I live on the east coast so this beer is great after a long day of shoveling or skiing...just sit back and sip the goodness!

Enjoy the Abyss. Feels it gets better as it warms up. Would drink an entire growler sitting by the outside fire smoking a cigar. It would take a couple hours but it was always enjoyable.
