    Glad to see @Hopasouras step in and pick up a fellow BA!

    That said, I do hope @VanS doesn't think the issue is done for him. After all, as of now, he still seems to have flat-out stolen beer from the OP. And yet he was on the site browsing less than 30 mins ago...

    Agreed. @VanS - what is your side of all this?
    Is there an explanation? An apology / effort to make right? Anything?

    You guys do a great job of staying on top of this. Would love to see a feature that you could restrict access to only this thread once someone gets put on the clock.

    Was thinking maybe it could be similar to the functionality that is in place that restricts people until they get verified, but you certainly know better than me.

    Mods are doing a great job of tracking the bad traders and sending them packing if they don't do the right thing, so this functionality could be moot as long as they keep doing it.

    @ttp86 He has Facebook, have you tried reaching out to him on there? I traded with him over a year ago elsewhere. Communication wasn't very quick, but he did end up sending. My only issue had been that we both said we would do a few extras and when my box arrived there weren't any because he had forgotten. He said he'd get me back the next trade, but when I reached out down the road he said he wasn't trading at the time. Not sure if he got busy, family, work, etc. I at least got fresh Pliny (my first time trying it at the time), so I ended up still being happy even though I didn't get the extras.

    Thanks for letting me know! I have a Facebook account but haven't been on in ages. But I don't see why I have to hunt him down and harass him when he is checking my messages and choose not to reply to any of them. I don't see how messaging him on FB will be any different if he chooses to ignore me. As I mentioned in my orignal post, I'm out a couple cans of Heady and some local so it's no big deal. I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware so no one else send him anymore free beer. I thought was a trusworthy trader because he has completed 9 trades with all Good rating.

    Sounds good. I def agree with you and you shouldn't have to hunt anyone down ever when it comes to trading. Just wanted to give you a heads up just in case a different approach like that would work. You never know and even though you didn't lose a lot, you still did lose out, which sucks. It's awesome @Hopasouras hooked you up for your tasting though. At least you'll still be able to do that with fresh Pliny, which is always good!

    IMHO, you absolutely shouldn't have to go to that kind of trouble, and in your shoes, I probably would have the same attitude. That being said, having read over a number of "bad trader" threads, there have been several times when calling the BT out on Facebook seems to have had a positive effect (getting his attention and eliciting a response). I gather having friends and family reading about your deadbeat beer trading activities is something most folks prefer to avoid, thus providing an incentive to contact the victim, making things right, and hopefully bringing the "harrassment" to a stop.

    Not sure it's worth the time and effort in your particular case, but it's something to keep in mind, should the OP trade partner do anything further to piss you off. :slight_smile:
