    Chicken came out of the brine at 9:00, brisket's been on since 7:15 and I've been up since 5:30. My earlier escapades got merged into the last thread, so lets kick this off again!

    Good morning BAs! Yet another beautiful day here in Texas - gonna be a bitch when we head north into the cold next week - probably be snowing when we hit MN! A nice Oktoberfest marzen from Shiner to start the day. This tastes much better than I expected - kind of caramely and malty and unoppressive - better than this year's Ruby Redbird for sure.

    Friend of mine has one of those pool cleaners, always scares the shit out of his cats when it breaches and makes those gargling sounds lol.

    Been on a huge classic IPA kick lately. Forget your mango purée this and passion fruit smoothie that -- give me clean, crisp citrus/pine goodness! And cans! And drinking from decks in the cool mountain pines! And then they all said, "Amen!"
