Yeah I saw them replenish the crate twice today. Also apart from the rush first thing in the morning it was generally pretty quiet.

Was there till closing today and Zenne was still for sale. Looked like the vintage in 750s was sold out though.

Vintage 750ml was sold out yesterday, Zenne about 15-20 bottles remained in the cage but they were going to put out some more for the people that come today, monday, to make sure they don't come for nothing.
Nothing new but I'm still shocked by the bottles I see popping up here and there on second hand sites. I would really like to tar&feather those douchebags if I ever know who they are...Next time they'll be releasing bottles without going on sale in the shop, directly to the restaurants.

I totally agree, but I think this won't solve the problem as still bottles will find their way out of Restaurants and then be sold by these idiots on the "grey market". As long as they bottle the beer, this will happen I guess... :slight_frown::angry:

Is trading bad or it is right ?

I think trading is ok - it just depends on the value you think this beer is worth - but as there are many limited releases of great brews around the world, trading for them is the only chance to get them. The problem here is that people buy this beer for 22€ an re-sell it for more than 300€... and as there are still people that are so crazy to spend such a huge amount on a single bottle of beer, this problem won't end...

Is it right to trade a 22€ bottle against a 300€ secondary market bottle ?

The bottle is worth what the mad man gives for it. I don't care about reselling or retrading. Nor should Armand. Since he makes more than enough money out of those bottles. 22 euros.. If someone wants to pay 300 euro's for it, it's out of his hands, who even cares.

There was a sign behind the counter saying "Here you buy beer from a brewer, not a banker." I think he should watch out with that slogan, because he's coming awfully close to the latter.

Cantillon knows they can also ask 22 euro's for their FouFoune. They just don't do it, out of respect for their customers and out of honesty.

    Just my two cents.

Right you are. 3 Fonteinen raised up their prices last year enormously, a crate of 12x37,5cl raised up with 12€ in a few months.

One year a go, 30€ was normal for a crate of 3 fonteinen, today 40-45€ is a normal price asked by beer merchants.
