Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Just a perfect example of the style.
I used to really like Stone Levitation, but... it's been murdered.

Hop Ticket from Victory (4.5%), Bean Flicker from Odd Side (4.5%), Hopsession Super Pale from Brau Brothers (4.2%), Founder's All Day IPA (4.7%), Vienna Lager from Devil's Backbone (4.9%) and the always satisfying Pilsner Urquell at 4.4%. Sadly, Levitation would have made the list but it is gone now....

FW Easy Jack is super. I dig the orange label too.

What do you guys like for session IPA's that can be bought at the grocery?

Stone Go To IPA. Haven't had it in a while, but it was delicious.

In that alcohol % range I'm a fan of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale as well as Pizza Port Ponto SIPA.

I forgot - Cigar City Maduro is 5.5% and it's really, really good. Wicked Weed's Serenity is also under 6% and I think it's amazing.

Came here to say exactly this^^^^^^^^^^.

Can't wait for them to increase production so we can get in NC more readily--toughest of their regular lineup to find on the shelf.

Fresh Brewdog Punk in England comes in at 5.6 and packs a lot of flavor for that sub 6 range.

Being a stout lover, I really enjoy Anderson Valley's Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout, Firestone Walker's Velvet Merlin, and Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, Organic Chocolate Stout, and Organic Pale Ale. Just today I tasted Sierra Nevada's Tumbler Autumn Brown Ale and I thought it was pretty tasty.

    Lately:
Evil Twin Citra Sunshine Slacker - one of their most impressive beers, to me anyway. Together and super drinkable.
Stillwater Yacht - put down a lot of this this summer. 7.99 a 4 pk, tasty.
Anderson Valley Gose, Short's Bucktricity Kills, Victory Kirsch Gose, Witch's Hat Andrew Gose Way...
and PBR. It's everywhere, easy, and I still like drinking it after all this time and transforming tastebuds. I know I will drink a lot more of it too.
