    Good morning/good night! Just hit midnight (Tuesday) and I've found another tasty DIPA here - Liberty Brewing's "C!tra" from Auckland, NZ:

    Grapefruit nose transitions to grassy hop then to slightly earthy. Tasty grapefruit juice on caramel malt, with a bitter grapefruit finish. This is bright and I want more; 9% ABV doesn't hurt either!

    No rain today so we went to the Auckland Botanical Gardens. The Camellias and Magnolias are in bloom (think our early March):

    Later in the afternoon we drove to the top of One Tree Hill, I believe the second highest point in Auckland. Our neighborhood where we are staying is at the foot of the park (Cornwall) which is a giant working farm and public space where we walk the dogs:

    This is the second amazing beer I have had from this brewer. And to think I had never even heard of them before until my wife brought back a bottle of Three Philosophers for me on her trip to NYC.

    Maybe it's just me (it usually is:flushed::grinning:) but that label looks kind of....dirty.:wink::wink::rolling_eyes::rolling_eyes:
